Dieng Plateau : Travel to the exotic and mystical temple

Dieng Plateau is a plateau region in Central Java, who entered the district of Banjarnegara and Wonosobo . Dieng Plateau is located at Village Kulon Dieng region, Kejajar. This region is one of the most remote regions in Central Java. It lies to the west of Mount Sindoro complex and Sumbing. This area is located about 26 km in the north of the capital Wonosobo district, with an altitude reaches 2093 m above sea level. Temperatures range from 15-20 ° C in the daytime and 10 ° C at night. In the dry season (July and August), temperatures can reach 0 ° C in the morning and bring frost, by the locals called bun upas ("dew poison") because it causes damage to agricultural crops. Dieng has temperatures in winter approaching to be cool. But after passing the road that meanders uphill, exotic landscape that stretches as far as the eye could see and pampering your visions .

Once entering the main gate at the Dieng plateau, you will be greeted by a temple complex called the Temple of Pandavas. This complex contains five temples, the Temple Semar, Arjuna, Srikandi, Sembadra, and Puntadewa. The temples are scattered across the region patterned Hindu.

Dieng temple complex
Dieng temple area is administratively included in Banjarnegara district. The remains of the 7th century masterpiece of the Sanjaya Dynasty are still kept in Dieng. A total of approximately 400 temples ever built this heaven on earth. Five temple stands on equal footing with the background landscape is very attractive. Sikidang Crater

Color Lake
This area is included in the administrative area Wonosobo district. Volcanic lake which has this exotic color is known as Lake Warna. Interestingly, after the ruwat, the child's hair will grow back to normal as usual. Ruwatan hair cutting is a process with a long procession and involve indigenous people and traditional leaders.
